POONCH, Sept 19: Pardeep Sharma, Ex MLC BJP today visited Mandi block and attended a programme along with other senior leaders including Paramjeet Singh, general secretary, Captain (retd) Ashok Kumar, district vice president, Captain (retd) Bansi Lal, Ex President , Mohd Ashraf, Mandal Pardhan, Mandi, Mohd Sharief, Mandal Pardhan, Loran, Abdul Hamid, senior Party Leader, Manjeet Singh spokesperson, Bansi Lal, senior party leaders, Mohd Javid Panch and Pir Layaqat.
During the programme some prominent leaders and workers of National Conference (NC) left their party and joined the BJP in front of Pardeep Sharma and other leaders.
Those who joined BJP included Mohd Akram Lone (NC block president), Mohammad Tariq Hussian Pir, Mohammad Iqbal, Abdul Ghani Lone Ghulam Ahmed Lone, Mohd Afzal Lone and Ghulam Qadir.
About 150 to 200 youth of the area also joined the BJP on the occasion.
