MENDHAR, July 9: A youth working in a local LPG agency was arrested by police for the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 32,000 from J&K Bank branch Poonch today.
The action was taken by Mendhar police led by SHO Aijaz Malik ( DySP Prob), after the agency (Bharat Gas ) manager Raj Kumar lodged a complaint that his employee Muzamil Shah, son of Yasin Shah, resident of Jhallas managed a blank cheque from the office and fraudulently withdrew Rs 32,000 from Poonch branch of J&K Bank yesterday. The police conducted raids and nabbed the youth today. The money was also recovered. A case has been registered against him.
