JAMMU, July 9: Shahnaz Husain attended a special screening of the much awaited film ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ in London very recently.
The film stars Farahan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor will be released film on 12th of this month.
Director of the film, Rakesh Mehra besides Farahan and Sonam, was also present. The legendary athlete of the country, Milkha Singh also graced the occasion with his presence.
‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ is a biographical film based on the life of Milkha Singh, who was known as ‘The Flying Sikh” and brought glory to India.
“It was an honour to meet Milkha Singh. In fact, I was touched by the story of his courage and preservance to surmount odds and become the legend that he is. I was also happy to meet Farahan, who was formally dressed in a black tux and looked really smart”, Shahnaz expressed.
She maintained that Farahan’s performance is excellent in the film, which shows how hard he has worked for the film.
She further said, “Farahan told me that he had excercised vigorously for one and a half years to prepare for the role. Apart from being an excellent director, he is an accomplished actor and even a good singer. Some of his recently films have been super hits at the box office”.
Fans in London were clamouring to see the stars and the legendary athlete Milkha Singh in person.
