Najeeb Jung sworn-in as Delhi new Lt Governor

NEW DELHI, July 9:
Jamia Millia Islamia Vice-Chancellor  Najeeb Jung has been sworn-in as the new Lieutenant Governor  of Delhi.
Prof Jung, who has replaced Tejinder Khanna, is also a  former IAS officer. He joined Madhya Pradesh cadre in 1973  and worked in various capacities in the state and at the  Centre with various governments.
He was associated with the Asian Development Bank and the  Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, Oxford University, before  was called to head the Jamia Millia University here. (UNI)
