Cloudburst toll reaches 5

Srinagar, Sept 13: Another body was today found following the death of four members of a nomadic family which was caught in a cloudburst in the Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials said that the body of Mohammad Bashir Khari, 80, was found by a team of police and SDRF who were still continuing with the rescue operation.
Notably, the family was caught in a cloudburst as they were putting up in a tent at Hamam Marcoot during the intervening night of September 11 and 12.
Earlier, the bodies of the four family members were recovered, while as a woman, Naseema Begum in her thirties was rescued in an injured condition.
Those who were found dead have been identified as Shahnaza Begum (30) wife of Mohammad Farooq Khari, daughter Nazia Akhtar (14), son Arif Hussain (5) and Tariq Ahmad Khari (8), all residents of Nowshera, Rajouri.
