POONCH, Aug 26: Four persons were injured in a collision between a Tata Mobile vehicle, Motorcycle and an Alto Car in Lassana area of tehsil Surankote in Poonch district today.
Official sources said that there was a collision between Tata Mobile which was on its way from Surankote to Poonch. Alto car bearing Registration No. (JK11- 4039) and Motor Cycle (Pulsar) bearing Registration No. (JK12B 8552), were coming from Poonch side and heading towards Surankote. Both the vehicles and bike suddenly collided at a curve near Lassana, resulting injuries to four persons.
The jawans of 156 TA and locals reached the spot and evacuated the injured persons to PHC Lassana . For further treatment after giving first-aid, two persons were shifted to SDH Surankote. Later they were removed to GMC Rajouri.
The injured persons were identified as Mohd Younis, son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of village Drogian in Bufliaz; Amjed Khan, son of Late Khan Mohd, a resident of Drogian; Mehnaz Bi, wife of Mohd Mushtaq from Poonch and Mohd Shakeel, son of Manzoor Hussain of Poonch.
SHO Surankote, Jatinder Singh Sambyal told that a case has been registered vide FIR No. 312, under Sections 279/337 in Police Station Surankote and further investigation launched.
