UDHAMPUR, Aug 23: Police arrested a drug peddler along with heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Udhampur led by SHO Inspector Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Udhampur Sahil Mahajan laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK14G-3739.
During checking, police team recovered 7 grams heroin from the possession of one person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Latief Mohammad, son of Hussain Din of Dalphar, Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 309/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
