Bari Brahmana police busts bike lifters gang

SAMBA, Aug 10: Bari Brahmana Police has busted a gang of bike lifters by arresting four persons and recovered four bikes stolen by them.
Police said that an FIR was registered in Bari Brahmana Police Station under Number 192/2021 U/S 379 IPC. During the course of investigation Bari Brahmana police led by SHO Rajesh Sharma who was assisted by PSI, Ravi Kant arrested one suspect, Mohammed Yasir Raza, son of Mohammed Yousf of Rabta Bhgan Talab Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.
During his sustained interrogation he disclosed that he had stolen the bike and kept it hidden near Bharat Flour Mill (P Mark) Bari Brahamana. On his disclosure, the stolen bike was recovered from the flour mill area.
Police said during further in-depth investigation by police under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana, Dy SP Nihar Ranjan a naka was laid down near Sarore Adda , Bari Brahmana and on specific input three suspects were detained. They included Shabeel Kumar, son of Sat Paul, Rahul Dev, son of Harbans Lal both residents of Khour Slarian tehsil and district Jammu and Subham Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Dollian, tehsil Bishnah district Jammu and after their sustained interrogation three more stolen bikes were recovered.
The entire operation was carried out under the supervision of SSP, Samba Rajesh Sharma. Further investigation in the matter is going on and more recoveries are expected.
