JAMMU, Aug 7: National President of Lok Jan Shakti Party and Union Minister Pashupati Paras has formed a new body of the party in Jammu and Kashmir.
Engineer Sahil Bashir has been given the command of the new UT body and was nominated as the President of J&K while Vimal Manchanda has been given the post of General Secretary.
Sanjay Raina has been given the charge of Chairman Parliamentary Affairs and Anita Chandpuri is the charge of National Vice President in the Women’s Wing. Hashim Masood-ul- Hassan has been nominated as National Secretary, Ajaz Sufi as Provincial President of Kashmir, Sandeep Sharma as Provincial President of Jammu, Ashfaq Gulkar as National Secretary for Youth, Muhammad Iqbal Zargar as State Secretary, Farooq Ahmed as Provincial Secretary Kashmir and Aqas Umar Bhat as Provincial Secretary of Jammu.
In this regard, a function held at the LJP’s party headquarters Delhi where Pashupati Paras distributed order copies of the new posts to the new office bearers.
Apart from Sanjay Saraf, LJP National General Secretary, Spokesman and In- charge Jammu and Kashmir, national leaders of the party were also present on the occasion.
Pashupati Paras urged the new body to work in tandem with each other, saying they should be at the forefront of solving people’s problems. Congratulating the new team, party general secretary Sanjay Saraf said that as they have carried the party’s mission door to door in the past and have always been on the ground for the welfare of the people, they should continue their approach.
