JAMMU, Aug 7: Two books, titled “Astrology Tests Fake” and “Is God in Coma ?”, penned by Rakesh Anand, were released by Nami Dogri Sanstha, here today .
The author is son of the soil who got trained in acting and screen play from Hollywood and is a revolutionary writer .
Ram Lal Sharma, SDM RS Pura was chief guest on the occasion whereas Dr Baljit Raina, Dr Kamal Sharma, Sapna Soni and Bindiya were guests of honour. The dias was co-shared by Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President, NDS.
Capt Lalit Sharma and Raj Rishi Sharma read papers on both the books while Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary NDS, compeered the proceedings .
Rakesh Anand, writer of the books, while speaking on the occasion, said that the books are an attempt to eradicate religious and other superstitions from the global societies and send the message of rationalism and love . “The novel envisages to create ‘Heaven On Earth’ and ‘City Of Humans’ where the victims of social and religious terrorism live happily without fear irrespective of caste creed race religion and language with modern outlook,” he said .
The novel is based upon 25 years of research work of the author, which involves study of all religions, religious philosophy, history and science vs religion . He said that need of the hour is to propagate the cause of humanity and brotherhood.
R L Sharma said that peace and harmony in the society creates an ideal environment for development and human progress .
On the occasion, Rakesh Anand was also honoured with “Sanstha Samaan”. The vote of thanks was extended by Shanbu Ram Pyasa.
