SAMBA, Aug 6 : An Anti Tank Mine was defused in Bain Glad, a forward village near International Border (IB) in Samba district today. According to the police a farmer Sat Paul, son of Tillo Ram of Bainglad, Samba saw an anti-tank mine from his farm in the morning, after which he also informed the local police and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel. Soon, the security forces took it into their possession.

According to the information received, the farmer was going to his field as usual in the morning when suddenly he saw an iron object, after which he was left in awe. He immediately informed the Border Security Force personnel. As soon as the information was received, the security forces rushed to the spot and took possession of the mine and stopped anyone from going to that place and finally in the evening, the bomb disposal squad of Jammu and Kashmir Police defused it at an empty place.
