JAMMU, June 7: Satwari and Chatha Police jointly arrested a man along with country made pistol and live cartridge.
As per police sources, on reliable information, police teams led by SHO Satwari Inspector Deepak Jasrotia and Incharge Police Post Chatha Inspector Rakesh Roshan arrested a man along with country made pistol and live cartridges.
The arrested person was identified as Happy Choudhary alias Gugli, son of Darshan Lal of Raipur Satwari.
During sustained questioning and on his disclosure, police team also recovered 5 live cartridges, 2 empty cases of AK rifle, 2 live cartridges and 2 empty cases of 5.56 (INSAS).
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused has also remained involved in many attempt to murder and other criminal cases.
A fresh case under FIR Number 159/21 under Section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO South P K Mengi.
