RAJOURI, May 19: Government Degree College (GDC) Kotranka, under Career Counselling Cell of the College organized a webinar on the topic “Career Opportunities in Mass Media” today.
Illyas Ahmed (content editor and anchor at ETV Bharat), who was the resource person of the webinar, elaborated the history of different medias likes Print, Radio, TV and digital media and gave detailed presentation on career opportunities in respective fields.
Sharing his experience of working with TV and digital media, he said that due to internet revolution it has become very easy for all the citizen of the country and especially the youth to unearth the ills of the society and share it on social media so that it may help the society in better way.
Giving his final remarks at the end of the session, Principal of the college asked students to opt any course but do their best in whatever they are opting and serve the society by using their profession.
The webinar came to conclusion with the vote of thanks presented by Dr Mohd Mushtaq (Coordinator, Career Counselling Cell of the College).
