JAMMU, May 16: Chander Mohan Sharma, senior leader J&K BJP, has demanded to handover administration of newly built by DRDO, 500 bedded Corona hospital Bhagwati Nagar Jammu to Army Medical Core (AMC). He was addressing BJP and Namami Gange workers through virtual mode here, today. He said that the Indian Army had proven its mettle in all calamities in J&K by giving exemplary service to the civilians and helping civil administration and has earned people faith.
Medicare manned by Army will set an example for civil administration handling heath care. It will be appropriate to hand over DRDO Hospital management to AMC when the Health Department has failed to perform up to their Constitutional duty.
The recent exposure of ventilators sent by Prime Minister care funds lying unused in the stores of Medical Collage Hospital, and misappropriation of funds allocated for augmentation of Hospital equipment is a glaring example of dereliction of duty by the bureaucracy involved of all ranks, including of Commissioner Secretary and they must be held responsible for the crime against humanity, when several patients have died for non-availability of Oxygen, let the guiltiest be identified, punished and their name should be made public.
