JAMMU, Apr 19: Viraj Kala Kendra organised a function for interaction with S K Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax (Retd).
On the occasion, a humorous skit ‘Rasik Sampaadak’ was staged. The skit is based on Munshi Premchand’s short story. It was adopted by Rajneesh Gupta and the artists who made the viewers spellbound, included Pawan Verma, Rekha Sharma, Meera Tapasvi, Tarun Charak and Samdish.
A mesmerizing dance item was also performed by versatile Ankush Bhasin, Ashu Kotwal and others. Fresh and realistic poetry session was also held and prominent poets were Dr Baljeet Singh Raina, Sanjeev Bhasin, Sonia Upadhyay, Vageesh Sharma and Savita Khajuria.
On the occasion, Raj Bharti, chairperson, Viraj Kala Kendra alongwith other members honoured S K Sharma. Arun Goswami, president Bharat Vikas Parishad and others described Mr Sharma as a dedicated and great human being, always ready to guide young generation. Sanjay Bansal described Mr Sharma as a great and very supportive personality.
Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman Healthy Indian Stronger India along with Gourav Abrol, member HISI also spoke on the occasion. Sapna Soni, a renowned artist, anchored the programme.
