JAMMU, Mar 22: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Anil Masoom here today inaugurated lane-drain and tile work at Mohalla Paharian in Ward 10.
The lanes and drains of the area were in dilapidated condition since long and the locals there especially elders were facing a lot of problems while passing through these lanes.
Speaking on the occasion Masoom asked the general public to come forward and co-operate JMC in various development works undertaken by it in Jammu city.
He urged upon the locals to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine work and shun the habit of throwing debris, garbage, filth etc in drains and lanes.
The JMC Councillor asked the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
Parveen Kerni, Mandal Pradhan; Pawan Sharma, District Spokesperson; Vishav Partap, Sharda Devi, Ram Agarwal, Surinder Bansal, Rajesh Chandan, Satish Kumar, Rahul, Vinay Chopra, Nipun, Jatinder Vaid, Anil Kumar, Mohit, Sunil and other were also present on the occasion.
