JAMMU, Mar 19: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) while strongly condemning the statement of NC leaders that Kashmiri Pandits were killed by security forces in the Valley and not by the terrorists, said that it clearly seem that NC leaders are trying to give a clean chit to the terrorists, separatists and other gun yielded youth of the Valley as well as to Pakistan.
Kundan Kashmiri, president KPC while lambasting the NC leaders including Ali Mohammed Sagar and Mustafa Kamaal for stating that KPs were killed by security forces in the Valley said this was done to bail out the separatists and other radicals and fundamentalist responsible for ethnic cleansing, massacre, killings, loot and arson of Kashmiri Pandits during the turmoil and those who hounded them out of their homes and hearths.
Kashmiri reminded these leaders about revelations of Bita Karate, a former dreaded terrorist and killer of KPs who himself confessed about brutally killings of more than three dozen Kashmiri Pandits including a KP youth Satish Tickoo and others on the TV channel and also it was established by investigating agencies that JKLF chief, Yaseen Malik and its militant organisation was responsible for the killings and ethnic cleansing of KP minority of the Valley and on the same charges Malik and his associates were arrested and jailed as well their militant organisation was banned.
KPC demanded that the Government should take serious note of such misleading statements of NC leaders who are trying to tarnish and malign the image of security forces and protecting the ultras for killing of minority Pandits.
Also while discussing with his organization about the recent statement of Union MoS Home, G.Krishen Reddy in the Parliament that about 3,800 Kashmiri migrants have returned to Valley in the last few years and 520 of them after the abrogation of Article 370 to take up jobs under the Prime Minister’s special package, Kashmiri said it is bereft of the facts.
He said that these 3800 youth have not returned permanently to the Valley but for job purpose under compelling circumstance. He said that their permanent return is possible when their proper resettlement is made at one place in Valley as per their choice with all Constitutional and institutional guarantees as being demanded by the community from the long time.
