JAMMU, Mar 4: In the state conference of Delhi State Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held today, first time a local boy from Jammu, Akshit Baru, has been elected as one of the State working committee member of ABVP Delhi.
Akshit Baru had been working with ABVP Jammu and Kashmir Unit from 2017 from his school days and has also taken responsibilities as zone secretary and tehsil convener of Jammu West Tehsil. Since 2019, he has been working in Delhi State and is a second year student of BA Hons History in University of Delhi.
In the same conference, Dr Abhishek Tandon has been elected as State president for the second time and Sidharth Yadav (a student of LLM from University of Delhi) has been elected as State secretary for the third consecutive time.
