SRINAGAR, May 15: As many as 125 passengers stranded due to heavy snowfall on Mughal road at Pir-ki-Gali in different vehicles were rescued.
An official spokesman said here tonight that district administration Shopian received an information that due to snowfall 25 vehicles, carrying passengers were stranded at the Gali on Poonch-Shopian Mughal road due to snowfall and slippery road conditions yesterday.
He said immediately rescue teams were rushed and all the stranded passengers were rescued.
Despite heavy snowfall the teams rescued the live stock of Gujjar and Bakerwals. (AGENCIES)
