NOWSHERA, May 14: At least seven persons were injured after a Tata Magic vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge on the road side in Nonial area of Nowshera in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place at around 10.30 am when the vehicle was on its way to Nowshera from Ganiya village. When it reached at Nonial the driver lost control over it as the vehicle was in speed. The driver escaped from the spot after mishap.
The locals rushed towards the site of accident and the police also reached the spot after some time. All the seven injured were removed to Nowshera hospital. The police registered a case in this connection and started investigation. It also started search for the driver who escaped from the site after accident.
