JU allows BEd students to apply for admission in PG course

JAMMU, May 14: Jammu University today allowed the students who are undergoing BEd course, to apply for the ongoing admission in Post Graduation courses.
Decision in this regard was taken after a delegation of BEd students, led by NSUI State president Udhay Bhanu Chib, called on Vice-Chancellor Prof M P S Ishar.  The VC discussed the matter with admission committee and granted the permission with certain conditions.
Earlier, a number of admission seekers, who are pursuing BEd, approached the NSUI leaders and sought help so that their one year may not waste. They informed that till last year, admission was accorded to the BEd students.
After this interaction, a delegation of BEd students, led by Udhay Chib approached the Vice Chancellor and Dean Academic Affairs Prof Neelam Saraf seeking immediate instructions to the JU authorities in this regard. Finding the demand genuine, the Vice-Chancellor issued necessary instructions for permission to allow the BEd students to apply for admission in various PG course.
Udhay Chib was accompanied by Ajay Kumar, Neeraj Kundan, Kamal Mangotra, Abhijoot Singh, Nitin Bakshi, Najmis Saquib, Sarjeet Singh, Vijay Sharma, Anoop Ramandeep, Sanjana, Manju and Vandana.
