JAMMU, Jan 6: To offer prayers for world peace in general and for getting rid of Coronavirus in particular, Mata Bhaderkali Asthapan Trust, Wadipora, Handwara, Camp Office Thalwal Jammu organised ‘Maha Bhandhara’ on the occasion of Mahakali Jayanti at Devangan, Thalwal, here today.
While adhering SOPs and other allied Government guidelines, the people in large numbers thronged the Asthapan at Thalwal to have ‘darshan’ of ancient ‘Shilla’ of Mata Bhaderkali and seek Her blessings.
A Samohik arti/pooja was performed on the occasion which was followed by serving of ‘maha bhog’ among all present on the occasion.
Later-on bhajan-kirtan was also organised in the premises of Asthapan.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were former MLCs Surinder Ambardar and Ajay Bharti, President of Zeastha Devi Prabandhak Committee B B Bhat besides President of the Mata Bhaderkali Asthapan Trust Dileep Ji Pandita.
