Wheat inches up in thin trade

NEW DELHI, May 11:  In restricted activity, wheat prices inched up by Rs 5 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today due to increased offtake by flour mills.
However, other grains moved in a narrow range in limited deals against sufficient supplies and settled around previous levels.
Traders said increased offtake by flour mills mainly helped wheat dara prices to trade marginally higher.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) rose by Rs 5 to Rs 1,465-1,470 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery traded higher by the same margion to Rs 1,470-1,475 per 90 kg.
