POONCH, May 10: At least six persons were injured one of them seriously, after a Tempo Traveler skidded off the road and turned turtle near Bufliaz in Surankote today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when the vehicle bearing registration No. JK-12/ 2156 which was on way to Faislabad from Bufliaz skidded off and over turned on the road. Six persons including a minor girl standing on the road side were injured and were rushed to Surankote hospital. The vehicle was in speed and the driver lost control over it.
Seriously injured minor Salima Javed, daughter of Javed Ahmed of Faislabad was referred to GMC, Hospital Jammu. The other injured were identified as Sahil, son of Zaheeruddin of Kishanganj in Bihar, Iftikhar, son of Afzal Hussain of Bihar, Mabin Kouser, daughter of Maqbool of Faislabad, Fozia Anjum, daughter of Abdul Hamid and Susan Shamim, daughter of Shamim Ahmed, resident of Faislabad.
