RAMBAN, May 10: The Dhanmasta village, which has a population of around 900, is still without a road facility.
Villagers alleged that the road measuring eight kilometers for which the Government had taken their precious agricultural land on behest of giving them compensation, is still incomplete. Moreover the farmers whose land was taken by the Government, didn’t get compensation till now.
“Due to non-completion of road we are facing immense hardships since past several years and no one from administration pays heed to our genuine plight”, a villager said.
It is unfortunate that even after passing several years, the concerned authorities have able to construct only a small portion of road ( 5 km), which is not motorable, while a stretch of 3 km is still left behind, he further added.
