JAMMU, May 8: Commissioner/Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Manoj K Dwivedi has proceeded on Central deputation.
An IAS officer of 1997 batch of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, Mr Dwivedi has been posted as Director, Department of Personnel and Training in New Delhi in place of Deepti Umashankar, an IAS officer of 1993 batch of Haryana, who has been elevated to the rank of Joint Secretary in the same department.
Presently Commissioner/ Secretary Health and Medical Education Department, Mr Dwivedi had twice served as Additional Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Director Education Department, Director Rural Development Department and Secretary Information and Technology and Science and Technology.
The Department of Personnel and Training, where Mr Dwivedi has been posted now, is the coordinating agency of the Central Government in personnel matters especially in respect of the issues concerning recruitment, training, career development and staff welfare.
