JAMMU, Dec 16: Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) today disconnected 13 power connections for non-payment of dues.
A spokesperson of JPDCL said that on the directions of the Chief Engineer JPDCL Jammu, a team of the officials of Electric Sub Division-I, JPDCL, Green Belt led by Assistant Executive Engineer, under the direct supervision of Executive Engineer Electric Division II Gandhi Nagar Jammu, conducted inspection drive of various installations at Trikuta Nagar and adjoining areas.
“The team conducted inspection of 43 installations and out of them 13 installations including domestic and commercial installations were disconnected due to non-payment of dues,” the spokesperson said. He asserted that Chief Engineer has requested all electric consumers to clear their outstanding/arrear if any at the earliest to avoid disconnections.
