JAMMU, Dec 15: Claiming that farmers’ protest is signaling to a big political crisis, J&K president of National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI), Rajesh Gupta said if the Government did something wrong, it should immediately correct it.
“And if the Government has done everything right then it should analyze the reasons behind the communication gap that led to farmers’ agitation,” he said.
In a handout Gupta said that in future also, the Government should take various representative bodies concerned into confidence so that the people do not come on roads after passing of the bills.
The NDPI leader said, letting the unrest linger on could cause chaos in food markets, alienate urban consumers, and potentially derail the post-COVID recovery.
