UDHAMPUR, May 4: A teenaged girl committed suicide by setting herself on fire under mysterious circumstances at her residence in village Marta, tehsil Ramnagar.
Reports said that the girl, namely Ashu Devi (18) daughter of Guddu Ram of Marta, poured some inflammable liquid on her body and then set herself on fire. She was rushed to Sub – District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred her to GMC Jammu. However, she succumbed to her burn injuries on way to Jammu.
Police have registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
