JAMMU, May 4: The State Director of The War Decorated India, Col (retd) Dr Virendra K Sahi, convened a meeting of war veterans at his Digiana office, here today, wherein various aspects of the recent Chinese intrusion in Ladakh and Indian Government’s failure to react in protecting the integrity of the Indian territory, were discussed threadbare.
Terming it as a weak-kneed cowardice, Sahi asked as to why there is no report on the meeting of Cabinet Committee on Security so far? Why is the Prime Minister silent on an issue so vital for the nation and why the nation is being kept in dark by calling it a ‘localized affair’ just 19 km deep.
Assuring full support of the war veterans in all respects ‘even fighting in front’ the decorated ‘Vir Chakra’ veteran Virendra Sahi, suggested immediate cordon and isolation of intruders, cut off their supplies and push a similar force across LAC elsewhere forcing Chinks to either withdraw or come to negotiating terms.
