This has reference to the news item ‘Massive rallies held to observe May Day’ DE May 2.
The Trade Unions of the State have highlighted through these rallies the problems of labour class and it is duty of the Government to have a look on them and solve to the satisfaction of the aggrieved party.
In order to improve the lot of labour class particularly those in unorganised sector the Government must do away with archiac laws and replace them with a new set of laws which in true sense may take care of the problems of working class.
It may not be out of place to mention here that labour class continues to face same exploitation as it does in the past. The situation has not changed much.
The Government should ensure that the labour class enjoys the same privileges as have been granted to those working in organised sector.
