SAMBA, Nov 26: Continuing its drive against illegal mining and illegal transportation of construction material, Samba Police seized four vehicles including three dumpers and a tractor, which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material.
A police party of PP SIDCO while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, seized a dumper and a tractor found transporting the construction material (sand) without any legal permission. The sized dumber bears registration number JK21D-5691 whereas the other seized tractor was without registration number.
Similarly, a police team of PP Mansar while perfoming routine vehicle checking at naka Mansar, seized two dumpers bearing registration number JK19-4653 & other was without registration number for illegally transporting of construction material (sand).
All the four vehicles intercepted by Samba Police were seized on spot and cases entrusted to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
