14 injured as vehicle turns turtle

RAMBAN, Oct 24: Fourteen persons were injured when the Tata Mobile they were traveling in turned turtle near Mehar on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
As per reports, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK03-7891 turned turtle near Mehar area of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting into injuries to 14 persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where their condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Nazia Banoo (7), daughter of Manzoor Hussain, Khatoon Begum (70), wife of Basheer Ahmed, resident of Sanarya Top District Reasi, Marjana Begum (70), wife of late Mohammad Yousaf, Zerena Banoo (14), daughter of Mohammad Shafi, Mohammad Bashir (65), son of Janbo, Shazia Banoo (10), daughter of Manzoor Hussain, Danish (4), son of Manzoor Hussain, Junaid (8 ), son of Mohammad Shafi, Nazira Begum (30), wife of Mohammad Shafi, all residents of Reasi District, Mohammad Sadiq (65), son of Mohammad Azeem Akbar, Shausta (15), daughter of Manzoor Hussain, Danish Hussain (9), son of Manzoor Ahmed, Saleema Begum (27), wife of Manzoor Hussain and Manzoor Hussain (30), all residents of Rajouri district.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
