SAMBA, Sept 14: The BJP leader and Working Committee member J&KUT, Arun Sharma met with people of Rajul,Kathar,Topa Nalli and Janda villages of block Nud in Samba district today.
At village Rajul, Mohan Lal and Ram Lal raised several issues including construction of road from Purmandal to Rajul and sanction of electric poles for the village. They also demanded inclusion of village with block Purmandal instead of Nud. They said Police Station for this village is Purmandal, tehsil is Bari Brahmana and block is Nud and distance between this village and Nud is more than that of Purmandal.
At village Kathar, Girdhari Lal, Mohan Lal and others organized the meeting. They said there is no road at Kathar, neither any Sub Centre while the condition of street is deteriorating and people face power crisis as well.
At village Janda prominent worker Ashok Singh organised the public meeting and large number of villagers were present demanding immediate starting of the work of road from Nud shrine to Janda which is a distance of 5 kms. They were also demanding tube well for drinking water and sanction of electric poles in the village.
Arun Sharma, while addressing the public at villages assured them that the demands will be highlighted and submitted to the Lt. Governor of J&K and BJP party high command very shortly.
Others who accompanied Sharma were Girdhari Lal, Sunil Dutt, Jamat Ali, Ashok Singh, Goutam Singh, Mohan Lal, Ravi Singh, Kuldip Singh and Dinesh Singh.
