JAMMU, Sept 13: Remembering the martyrs who laid down their lives during terrorism in Kashmir on the eve of Balidan Divas today BJP displaced district led by Chand Ji Bhat organised various programmes.
One such programme was organised at Durga Nagar Bantalab by the party in which glowing tributes were paid to party’s vice president, Tika Lal Taploo who laid down his life on September 14 in 1989 at Srinagar after he warned terrorists and Pakistan that India can’t be browbeaten by the gun wielding terrorists and nation is strong enough to demolish them and their harbourers.
Those besides, Chand Ji Bhat who paid tributes included Bharat Bushan Gosani, senior leader, president Durga Mandal, Bushan Lal Raina, vice president, R K Raina, general secretary, Vish Nath , media secretary, Ravinder Bhat, secretary, O N Raina, president Yuva Morcha, Rahul Kaul its general secretary Ashish Kumar and others.
In another programme Mahila Morcha displaced district paid glowing tributes to Tika Lal Taploo at a programme at Jagti township today. Those who remembered Taploo included vice presidents of MM displaced district, Priya Bhat and Chander Dhar, Media incharge Dazy Bazaz, secretary, Neelam and others.
Another programme was organized by senior BJP leader and president displaced councilors, corporators Virender Kuchroo in which the participants recalled the services of late leader to the nation as a whole. They said Taploo is still alive in the hearts of millions of nationalist people.
