MPSAT provides cash assistance to deserving patients

JAMMU, Apr 17: To review its functioning and progress, Mochhi Pholi Saet Athrot Trust (MPSAT) held an Annual General Body meeting, under the chairmanship of Veer Ji Bhat at Vinayak Nagar, Muthi, here today.
The meeting while reviewing the cases of the persons in need provided a cash assistance of Rs 25,000 to the deserving patients of Kashmiri Pandit Community drawn from Udhampur, Jagti and Durga Nagar.
The assistance was provided to five patients suffering from various diseases and not in a position to meet out the expenses on medicine and other livelihood.
While presenting the work done report for the year 2012-13, Veer Ji Bhat reiterated that the number of needy persons is increasing as the prices are touching the sky day-by-day, adding that the people with meagre income hardly afford their requirements.
RL Koul, RL Bhat and CL Bhat also spoke on the occasion, while KL Koul presented income-expenditure statement for the year 2012-13.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Mukesh Thaploo, Inderjeet Pandita, RK Bhat, RN Raina, AK Dhar, Manoj Kumar, SL Koul, AK Pandita, SK Ganjoo, Roop Krishan, TK Dhar, RK Pandita, Venu Ji Bhat, Vinod Zutshi, KK Pandita, AK Mattoo and Vijay Kumar Koul.
