JAMMU, Apr 17: A deputation of All J&K Agriculture Officers Welfare Forum (AJKAOWF) led by its chairman, Nasir A Zargar called on Minister of Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir and held a threadbare discussion regarding various projects and programmes being run by the Department for the benefit and welfare of the farming community.
The chairman of the Forum as well as other officers of the department expressed their satisfaction over the initiative taken by the Minister for reshaping and restructuring the overall contours of the Department along with positively addressing the long pending DPC and pay anomaly issues of the agriculture officers fraternity.
The meeting also expressed satisfaction over the keenness shown by MoS Agriculture Nazir Ahmed Gurezi in seeing that the problems and issues of agri officers get resolved.
The meeting expressed the hope that the Commissioner Agriculture Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon will conduct the DPC as early as possible as assured by the Minister.
