SRINAGAR:
As many as 94 Selection grade Constables (SgCts) of Jammu and Kashmir police were promoted as Head Constables (HC), a police spokesman said here, this afternoon.
He also said that the approval for promotion was granted by the departmental promotional committee which met under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone S J M Gillani. He said the IGP has issued the formal promotion order in respect of these SgCts.
The IGP also felicitated the promoted police personnel, their families and exhorted upon them to work with more dedication and devotion in the interest of public and the department. (AGENCIES)
