JAMMU, Feb 19: Directorate of Home guards, Civil Defence and SDRF today issued promotion orders of 94 officers and officials of the Organization with immediate effect.
The promotes include 3 Assistant Sub Inspectors, 3 Head Constables, 53 Selection Grade Constables and 35 Constables. The promotions were made on the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by IGP, Home guard, Civil Defence and SDRF, J P Singh.
Giving details, J P Singh said that the DPC scrutinized the cases for their promotion to their next higher rank and 35 Constables, 53 Selection Grade Constables, 3 Head Constables and 3 Assistant Sub Inspectors were found eligible for the promotion.
He said that the DPC was constituted on the directions of DGP, K Rajendra Kumar, who is also Commandant General of the Organization.
