SAMBA, Aug 6: Panic gripped in the locality of New Bus Stand, Samba today after nine live cartridges of 7.62 mm were found near a Church in the area.
Local people informed the police that nine cartridges are lying near Church in the area. The police reached the spot and took the cartridges in their possession and started further investigation.
After taking the cartridges in their possession, the police also conducted a search operation in the area but nothing else was found. It is worth mentioning that the place from where these cartridges were found is adjoining the Jammu -Pathankot National Highway and there is an Army area just a few meters away. In such a situation, the security agencies and the police have started investigating the matter.
