RAMBAN, Dec 8: In order to check the punctuality in the Government offices, Additional District Development Commissioner Ramban, Ravinder Sadhu along with Tehsildar Batote paid surprise visit in different Government offices at Batote here today.
During the inspection, ADDC found some officers and officials absent from duties without seeking prior permission from any authority besides non maintenance of their movement registers.
The absentees included Zahid Aslam Mughal, DFO Batote, Dhruv Singh, Head Assistant, Forest division Batote, Mohd Sajad, Account Assistant, Forest Division Batote, Mohd Ashraf, Executive Officer Batote, Mohd Amin Daing, ZEO Batote, Habib Choudhary, X-En, EM&RE Batote, Jagan Nath Sharma, BDO Batote, Kapil Sharma, Computer Operator and Ranjit Singh, AEE PWD (R&B) Batote. The Range Office Batote was also found locked.
Taking serious note of this, the ADDC has sought explanations from absentees within three days. The salary of all erring employees has also kept withheld till further order.
