UDHAMPUR, July 7: Police foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling at Latti and rescued nine bovines even as the alleged smugglers managed to escape.
These bovines were being taken on foot towards Kashmir , without any valid permission. A Police team of Police Station Latti intercepted the smugglers who fled the scene leaving the animals. All the bovines were rescued and shifted to a safer place.
In this regard, case FIR No. 11/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Latti.
