SRINAGAR, Mar 10: A medical camp jointly organized by 9BN JKAP Zewan and Kashmir Medical College & Hospital (KMC), Sempora at the Armed Police Complex, Zewan was held here today.
The camp was organized for the official and family members of residing in APC complex and local population residing in vicinity.
During the camp around 700 patients including 200 ladies, children and elderly patients, were examined by a team of experienced doctors and medical professionals from various departments of Kashmir Medical College & Hospital, including Surgery, General medicine, Orthopaedics, dermatology, Dentistry, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry and ENT.
Various diagnostic investigations, including blood serology tests, were conducted and medicines were distributed free of cost by Kashmir Medical College & Hospital as part of its community outreach initiative.
The event was graced by Tauseef Ahmed, Managing Director KMC and Insha Qazi, Executive Director KMC, who appreciated the efforts of the medical team and emphasized the importance of extending quality healthcare services to the community.
Speaking on the occasion, Tauseef Ahmed stated that the institution intends to organize more such medical outreach programmes in collaboration with J&K Police in the future.
Earlier, the distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by Shahzad Salaria, Commandant AP 9th Battalion.
The medical camp concluded on a positive note, with members of the local community and police personnel expressing appreciation for the free medical consultations, diagnostic services and medicines provided during the camp.
