JAMMU, June 28: Police today claimed they have recovered 9.80 grams of heroin-like-substance from an alleged drug addict during investigation of a case in Bishnah area here.
During investigation of a case FIR number 61/2025 registered under Sections 8/21/22/25 of the NDPS Act, a habitual drug peddler/drug addict, Marid of Jinder Khurd, Bishnah, was apprehended with 9.80 grams of heroin-like-substance, a police official said.
He said the case is being further investigated to trace the source and the intended recipient(s) of the consignment.
