JAMMU, Mar 4: Bishnah and Miran Sahib Police seized 8 vehicles, which were involved in illegal mining.
As per police sources, SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Aijaz Wani and Incharge SHO Bishnah Inspector Anil Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan seized 8 tractors trolleys loaded with sand illegally lifted from the beds of river Tawi.
It is pertinent to mention here that Police in Sub Division RS Pura in the year 2020-21 have seized hundreds of vehicles carrying sand illegally.
With the efforts of Police in Sub Division RS Pura, many dumps of illegal sand were also seized in the past.
