RAJOURI, Jan 24: Eight members of a marriage party were injured in bus accident in Sunderbani area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that at around 2 pm today, a bus bearing registration No. JK02V/2286 carrying a marriage party members was on way from Langer, Nowshera to Jammu side. When it reached in Kangri area near Sunderbani skidded off the road due to over speed and turned turtle.
At least eight persons were injured in the accident and were shifted to SDH Sunderbani . The injured were identified as Sohan Lal ( 35) son of Mukand Lal from Bajonwa; Akash Chowdary (15), son of Vikramjeet from Thanaka; Swapna (14), daughter of Sanjay Kumar from Langer; Isha Chowdary (15), daughter of Radhey Shyam from Langer; Gulshan Kumar ( 28) , son of Dharampal from Gunni; Rakesh Kumar (43), son of Gopi Ram from Gunni; Sarwan Kumar (37), son of Joginder Kumar from Tanaka, and Kuldeep Raj (37), son of Bhola Ram from Gunni in Nowshera. Sunderbani police has taken cognizance of the matter.
