JAMMU, Mar 6: The Government has promoted eight Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) officers.

As per an order, JKAS officer Ajaz Abdullah Saraf has been promoted to the Super Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 14 with effect from January 20, 2025.
Another order said that JKAS officers Devinder Singh Katoch and Soheel Noor Shah have been promoted to the Special Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 13.
Further, it has been ordered that JKAS officer Soheel Noor Shah, presently functioning as Additional Secretary has been designated as Special Secretary in the respective department.
Meanwhile, another order said that five JKAS officers-Shavi, Sanchi Misra, Mantasha Binti Rashid, Shafiq Ahmad and Javeed Naseem Masoodi-have been promoted to the Selection Grade of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 12.
