MENDHAR, Dec 23: At least eight persons were injured in a road accident in Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district today.
Reports said that accident took place when a Tata Sumo vehicle went out of control at Tain village in Mankote area of Mendhar at around 11.30 am on Tuesday. Eight persons received injuries.
The injured were identified as Mohd parvaiz (40), son of Mohd yaqoob from Tain village; Noor Jan (60), wife of Wazir Hussain from Tain- Mankote; Wazir Hussain; Tasweer Bi (55) wife of Ibrahim; .Khatija Bi (55) wife of Mohd Pattu; Shabia Kousar-45, wife of Mohd Kushal; Sahila Kousar (7)daughter of Mohd Kushal and Zeenat Bi (30) wife of Umar Azad from Mankote. They were shifted to Mankote hospital.
Two of them were serious and shifted to GMC Rajouri.
