8 bovines rescued, 3 arrested

JAMMU, Oct 20: Nagrota police rescued 8 bovine animals and arrested three persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nagrota Police Station laid a naka and intercepted two vehicles.
During checking, police rescued 8 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested three persons, who have been identified as Mohammad Asif, son of Abdul Raqib, Shabir Ahmed, son of Maqbool, both residents of Dooru, District Anantnag and Kalu Khan, son of Mohammad Tousaf of Katyal RS Pura.
Case under FIR Numbers 257/18 and 258/18 under sections 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act have been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Deepak Pathania rescued the bovines and arrested the accused under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
