UDHAMPUR, Aug 29: Police today rescued eight bovine animals and seized the truck, in which these animals were being smuggled to Kashmir Valley.
The truck JK02AJ-1486 was intercepted at Roun Domail Udhampur during a special naka by Incharge PP Roun, SI Khyati Maan Khajuria. During thorough search, the truck was found loaded with eight bovine animals. Police rescued the animals and seized the truck while driver managed to escape from the spot.
In this connection, Police has registered a case at Police Station Udhampur for further investigation.
